Welcome to your Yorcation stay! We want you to have a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable break.
To help everyone have the best possible experience (including our neighbours and future guests), please read and follow these House Rules. These form part of your booking agreement.
1. Respect the Property
Please treat the property, its contents, fixtures and fittings with care. Any damage, breakages or faults must be reported to us as soon as they are discovered.
- Damage to fixtures and fittings that is not reported during your stay will be assumed to have occurred during your occupancy, and the guest accepts liability for repair or replacement costs.
2. Pets (Where Permitted)
Pets are welcome only where expressly agreed in advance.
- Pets must be supervised at all times and must not be left unattended in the property.
- Pets must not cause damage, excessive mess or disturbance.
- Pet-related damage includes (but is not limited to) defecation or urination inside the property, damage to furniture, flooring, soft furnishings, gardens, fixtures or fittings.
- Any additional cleaning, repairs or replacement required due to pet damage will be charged to the guest.
3. Bodily Fluids Damage
Any damage or excessive cleaning required as a result of bodily fluids (including but not limited to urine, vomit or blood) will incur additional cleaning and/or replacement charges.
4. No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking, vaping and the use of e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited inside the property.
Evidence of smoking or vaping indoors will result in additional cleaning charges and may result in further penalties where damage has occurred.
5. Drugs
Illegal drugs, substances or related paraphernalia are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.
- Any evidence of drug use may result in immediate termination of your stay without refund and additional charges for cleaning or damage.
6. No Business or Commercial Use
The property is for holiday and leisure use only.
- Business use is not permitted, including (but not limited to) running a business, meetings, photoshoots, filming, events, or any form of solicitation.
7. Hot Tub Rules (Where Provided)
If your property includes a hot tub, please follow all instructions provided on-site.
- Use the hot tub at your own risk.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Do not use glassware in or around the hot tub.
- Do not use the hot tub if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Please shower before use and replace the cover after use.
- Any damage, contamination or misuse may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.
8. Noise and Consideration
Please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a reasonable level at all times.
- Quiet hours are between 11:00pm and 8:00am.
9. Parking
Please park only in the designated parking areas and park considerately at all times.
- Do not block access routes, neighbouring properties or emergency access.
10. Security and Safety
Please ensure doors and windows are locked when leaving the property.
- Any loss of keys, fobs or damage to security systems may incur replacement charges.
11. CCTV (Where Present)
Some Yorcation properties may have CCTV installed in external areas for security purposes only.
- CCTV is never positioned inside the property.
- Where present, CCTV is used in accordance with our Privacy and CCTV Policies.
12. Left Items and Lost Property
Any items left behind after departure will be logged and stored where possible.
- A £25 administration fee applies for the handling, storage and return of left items, plus any postage or courier costs.
13. Security Deposits
Where a security deposit has been taken:
- Deposits will be released within 7 working days of departure, provided no damage, excessive cleaning or rule breaches are identified.
14. Reporting Issues
Please report any issues, damage or concerns as soon as possible during your stay so we can address them promptly.
15. Breach of House Rules
Failure to comply with these House Rules may result in additional charges, deductions from your security deposit, or termination of your stay without refund.
